Overview
Limited Submission
Our STEM Programs -- Our programs are designed with the grantee in mind. We provide a direct path to obtain funding for organizations seeking programmatic support for STEM education at all levels. Explore each program below to find detailed eligibility and submission information. We do not expect Organizations to meet all criteria. The programs were created to provide a wide range of funding options. Organizations can meet as little as one criteria if they are able to show a unique aptitude in the development and proven outcomes of the program for which they are requesting funding.
Our Programs
- STEM Sprouts - K - 5th Grade STEM
- STEM Stars - Advanced STEM for Grades 6 - 12th Grade
- STEM Scholars - STEM programs for and benefiting College and Post-Secondary Students
- Teen-Tech - Grants to fund Tech Competitions
We support projects and programs that provide students and educators with enhanced resources for hands-on, STEM-based learning. This effort aligns with our mission to empower students and educators in the U.S. to regain their status as global leaders in innovation and technology. [Read about previously funded projects here.]
Entrepreneurial programs that teach business, money management, marketing, leadership, strategy, financing, and startup skills.
Innovative Environmental Projects (IEPs) that utilize interdisciplinary research to identify and address critical environmental problems with cutting-edge, innovative solutions that are scalable and replicable.
Projects and programs that contribute to advancements in biomedical research and innovation to accelerate the progress in medical research and drug treatment developed specifically for high-mortality, under-funded areas of need such as pancreatic and colon cancers.
Solicitation Limitations:Potential Grantees can only submit one LOI and wait for a determination or one Program Application. Do not submit applications to multiple grant programs within a single calendar year - they will be denied. Please do not submit an LOI and a Program Application in the same timeframe. We will not fund an organization twice in a single calendar year.
Other Information:We review letters of inquiry and grant applications from organizations that are both operating and whose programs benefit organizations within the United States. We do not fund internationally or internationally-reaching programs.
Should I submit a Program Application or an LOI? What is the difference?
The Letter of Inquiry should be used to share an idea for any project or program that 1) falls outside of the scope of our programs and/or 2) requires funding above the $25,000 funding cap of our Foundation's named programs. Please visit our Programs page before submitting an LOI. [See sponsor FAQ page]
How much is an average grant award?
An average grant from our Foundation typically ranges between $20,000 - $35,000. [See sponsor FAQ page]
