The Brabson Family Foundation (formerly Brabson Library and Education Foundation) is a philanthropic family foundation that honors the grantors and reflects the family’s passion for bold, innovative ideas that may have a significant and long-term impact especially in education, sciences, and the arts.

The SEED program provides funding to increase the number of highly effective educators by supporting the implementation of evidence-based practices that prepare, develop, or enhance the skills of educators. These grants will allow eligible entities to develop, expand, and evaluate practices that can serve as models to be sustained and disseminated.

This competition includes two absolute priorities. Applicants may address only one absolute priority and must clearly indicate the specific absolute priority their project addresses.

The Burroughs Wellcome Fund has announced Climate and Health Excellence Centers awards of up to $10M to stimulate development of strong research, education, and public communications connections between fields that aim to understand and mitigate the impact of climate change on human health. The awards will provide up to $2M a year for five years.
