The Media Projects program supports the development, production, and distribution of radio programs, podcasts, documentary films and television programs that engage general audiences with humanities ideas in creative and appealing ways. Projects must be grounded in humanities scholarship and incorporate an approach that is thoughtful, balanced, and analytical. The Division of Public Programs encourages media projects that promote a deeper understanding of American history and culture as well as those that examine international themes and subjects in the humanities.

Through this grant program, the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) supports state agencies’ use of their state’s education longitudinal data systems (SLDS) to provide evidence for their own program and policy decisions, and those of their local education agencies. State agencies are encouraged to link their SLDS data to other available datasets to better support the research.

The Cultural Heritage Center (CHC) in the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) at the U.S. Department of State announces an open competition for organizations to submit proposals for funding through the Ukraine Cultural Heritage Response Initiative-Countering False Narratives (UCHRI-CFN) – a program to strengthen the capacity of communities, civil society and governments in Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia collaboratively counter false narratives concerning cultural heritage.
