<p>IES invites applications to conduct research focused on NAEP Process Data for Learners with Disabilities (NAEP-P). The goal of this competition is to use data from the 2017 eighth grade NAEP mathematics assessment to generate evidence that improves our understanding of the link between test-taking behavior and mathematics performance for learners with disabilities and contributes to the larger body of evidence on improving mathematics outcomes for these learners.

<p>For FY 2021, IES is accepting applications under two programs:</p>
<div><strong>Early Career Development and Mentoring (Early Career):</strong> </div>
<div>The Early Career program provides support for an integrated research and career development plan for investigators in the early stages of their academic careers who have established an interest in special education research, with the ultimate aim of launching independent research careers focused on learners with or at risk for disabilities.
