<p>Purpose: PAS Johannesburg invites proposals for programs that strengthen cultural ties between the U.S. and South Africa through cultural and exchange programming that highlights shared values and promotes bilateral cooperation. All programs must include an American cultural element, or connection with American expert/s, organization/s, or institution/s in a specific field that will promote increased understanding of U.S.

<p><strong>The deadline to submit an application to Computer Science for All (CSforAll: Research and RPPs) has been changed to Monday, April 27, 2020. </strong></p>
<p>This program aims to provide <i>all </i>U.S. students with the opportunity to participate in computer science (CS) and computational thinking (CT) education in their schools at the preK-12 levels.
<p>Purpose of Program: Through the National Center for Education Research (NCER), the Institute of Education Sciences (Institute) provides support for programs of research in areas of demonstrated national need. The Institute’s research grant programs are designed to provide interested individuals and the general public with reliable and valid information about education practices that support learning and improve academic achievement and access to education opportunities for all learners.
<p>There are two tracks (topics) to this NCER program; one is for early-career applicants. </p>

</ol>
<p>Stats/Methods grants are divided into Regular and Early Career. Regular grants last a maximum of 3 years, with a maximum award amount of $900,000 for the grant.
<p>We’ve awarded more than $172 million in grants to literacy organizations that have helped more than 11 million individuals learn to read, prepare for the high school equivalency, or learn English. We believe that everyone deserves an equal opportunity to receive a basic education. It’s never too late to learn.</p>
