Overview
<p>The Subaru of America Foundation aims to support the work of organizations that are empowering the growth and development of children and young adults through career exploration with relevance to job readiness and job skills training.</p> <p>There are two applications, one for youth career exploration and one for employment skills training.</p> <p>Career Exploration<br> • Middle-to-high-school-aged youth in under-served communities<br> • Opportunities for real world hands-on exploration<br> • Exposure to hard and soft skills needed in today’s workforce<br> • Activities must have relevance to work readiness</p> <p>Employment Skills Training<br> • 16-26-year-olds in underserved communities<br> • Hard and soft skills training needed to (re)connect to employment pathways<br> • Assist in obtaining industry-appropriate certifications required for employment<br> • Create and nurture partnerships for internships and permanent employment</p>
Solicitation Limitations: <p>Only one application per organization can be considered in a 12-month period.
