<p>Grades: PreK-5, 6-8 The purpose of this grant is to support and encourage classroom-based research in precollege mathematics education in collaboration with college or university mathematics educators. For 2018-19, grants with a maximum of $6,000 each will be awarded to mathematics educators or classroom teachers* currently teaching mathematics at the grades Pre-K-6 level.
<p>All CAREER proposals should describe an integrated path that will lead to a successful career as an outstanding researcher and educator. NSF recognizes that there is no single approach to an integrated research and education plan, but encourages all applicants to think creatively about the reciprocal relationship between the proposed research and education activities and how they may inform each other in their career development as both outstanding researchers and<br>educators.
<p>Initiatives representing a range of development stages may enter—from early stage proposals with completed proof-of-concept to fully operating models ready to expand. Entries can tackle urgent needs at a range of geographic scales—from strategies designed to launch global initiatives tailored to local or regional conditions that can be adapted and replicated elsewhere.
<p>The Awards for Faculty program supports individual faculty or staff members at Hispanic-Serving Institutions, Historically Black Colleges and Universities, and Tribal Colleges and Universities pursuing research of value to humanities scholars, students, or general audiences. Awards are designed to be flexible, allowing applicants to define the audience, type of research, award periods, and administrative arrangements that best fit their projects. Awards can be used for a wide range of projects that are based on humanities research.
<p>ISSR provides semester long seed grants to faculty seeking external funding in the social sciences. Social science research is done across many fields, including the traditional fields of sociology, anthropology, psychology, social psychology, economics, and political science, but also in communications, criminal justice, law, journalism, education, nursing, medicine, gerontology, social work, environmental science, computer engineering, and more. Seed grants of up to $8,000, to be expended over 4-6 months, are available to researchers on all four ASU campuses.</p>
<p>The National Science Foundation Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program seeks to encourage talented science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) majors and professionals to become K-12 mathematics and science (including engineering and computer science) teachers. The program invites creative and innovative proposals that address the critical need for recruiting and preparing highly effective elementary and secondary science and mathematics teachers in high-need local educational agencies.
<p>Collaborative Research Grants support interpretive humanities research undertaken by two or more collaborating scholars, for full-time or part-time activities for periods of one to three years. Support is available for various combinations of scholars, consultants, and research assistants; project-related travel and archival research; field work; and technical support and services.
<p>The statutory authority for the NIST Standards Services Curricula Development (SSCD) Cooperative Agreement Program is 15 U.S.C. §§ 272(b) and (c). The NIST SSCD Cooperative Agreement Program provides financial assistance  to support curriculum development for the undergraduate and/or graduate level. This Program supports the integration of documentary standards and standardization content into courses, modules, seminars, and learning  resources to educate undergraduate and/or graduate students at U.S. colleges and universities.
