<p>Background</p>
<p>The U.S. Consulate General Mumbai Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the U.S. Department of State oversees a range of cultural and educational initiatives throughout western India that are supported by the U.S. government, with the goal to foster stronger bilateral and regional ties through diverse public diplomacy programs. PAS Mumbai’s geographic focus includes five states in western India (Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh).
<p><strong>Project Goal</strong>: The U.S. Consulate General in Chennai announces an open competition for organizations to submit applications to implement small programs that strengthen and increase academic and cultural exchanges between U.S. and India, highlight shared values and promote bilateral cooperation, expand partnership in technology innovation, promote a shared Indo Pacific vision, and foster inclusivity in India.
<p>Burlington Public Schools (or the “District”) is seeking proposals from qualified firms or<br>organizations to conduct an internal district-wide equity audit to identify institutional<br>practices that produce discriminatory trends in data that affect students. Schools and districts<br>conduct audits to analyze data in three key areas: programmatic equity, teaching quality<br>equity, and achievement equity.
<p>The Small Research Grants on Education Program supports education research projects that will contribute to the improvement of education, broadly conceived, with budgets up to $50,000 for projects ranging from one to five years. Eligible investigators may also request additional supplemental funds for a course release. We accept applications three times per year.</p>
