<p>OAR seeks to fund studies that expand the body of knowledge related to autism intervention and treatment, produce practical and clearly objective results, have the potential to impact public policy, and provide outcomes that offer to enhance quality of life for persons with autism and their families.
<p>Play brings joy. It is beneficial for problem solving, creativity, and relationships. Play is just as necessary for adults as it is for kids, but in low-income areas there are often limited spaces for play and fewer people attending arts and cultural activities. That’s why we invest in community programming that supports ways for children and adults to play and create.</p>
<p>Many young people across the country do not have the resources and/or access to enjoy the benefits of active play.
<p>At U.S. Bank, we know that a strong small business environment and an educated workforce ensure the prosperity of our communities. Through our grantmaking program, we make that possible.
<p>This program supports strategic, field-building activities that help address gaps in knowledge or capacity. Projects will also be reviewed for their potential to have a broad impact and remain sustainable beyond the grant period.
<p>The foundation will support efforts to expand teachers’ global knowledge and skills. Preference will be given to those teacher preparation institutions that are connected to state or citywide systemic effort in order to have a greater impact and to those using online courses for pre-service education or professional development.
<p>The Foundation’s mission is to support research to improve the lives of young people ages 5-25 in the United States. One way that we pursue this mission is by investing in high-quality field-initiated studies on improving the use of research evidence in ways that benefit youth.</p>
