The Stanley Smith Horticultural Trust supports education and research in ornamental horticulture through grants to botanical gardens, arboreta, universities, and other charitable organizations strongly-aligned with its funding interests.

The Trust welcomes Letters of Inquiry (LOI) from eligible organizations seeking funding for projects that meet its Funding Interests in research and education in ornamental horticulture.

The William T. Grant Scholars Program supports career development for promising early-career researchers. The program funds five-year research and mentoring plans that significantly expand researchers’ expertise in new disciplines, methods, and content areas.

With this solicitation, NSF invites proposals for five types of projects (described below)that connect and contribute to the National Network: (1) Design and Development Launch Pilots, (2) Collaborative Change Consortia, (3) Alliances, (4) Network Connectors, and (5) Conferences. The ART program is intended for IHEs that clearly see the benefits of building capacity and actively seek the infrastructure necessary for scaling translational research activities. The program aims to increase such institutions' capacity to conduct and accelerate translational research activities with a clear emphasis on capturing the resultant societal and economic benefits to their surrounding communities and regions.

The Research Infrastructure for the Social and Behavioral Sciences Program (RISBS) in the Directorate for Social, Behavioral and Economic Sciences invites investigators who possess the theoretical, methodological, measurement and managerial skills, as well as organizational resources, to undertake a large-scale survey data collection project to submit proposals to conduct the General Social Survey (GSS) and the International Social Survey Program (ISSP) United States surveys.

Successful proposals will align with the strategic priorities of the U.S. Embassy in Tanzania as defined below. Their overall goal will be to develop and strengthen partnerships and knowledge sharing between Americans and Tanzanians, as well as institutions in both countries. Project activities must take place principally in Tanzania. Proposals that do not have a significant linkage to advancing shared priorities are unlikely to be considered.

PDS Nairobi invites proposals for programs that strengthen ties between the United States and Kenya and promote bilateral cooperation. All programs must advance a U.S. linkage including for example a connection with American expert/s, organization/s, or institution/s in a specific field that will promote increased understanding of U.S. policies, economic models, and perspectives on U.S.-Kenya partnership.
