Schools and districts are seeking information on how to implement strategic staffing models. MLFTC's Next Education Workforce™ initiative provides site visits for visiting school staff to observe such models in practice in schools in the Phoenix area. However, demand exceeds space for these visits, and the site visits may not be logistically possible for many other schools and districts.
The approach
This grant will allow for the development of a web-based virtual site visit experience, as well as resources and tools that can be used by educators. The project is led by Brent Maddin, principal investigator, with Andrea LaRocca as co-principal. Maddin is executive director of MLFTC's Next Education Workforce initiative and professor of practice with ASU's Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College. LaRocca is assistant director, partnership success with MLFTC's Next Education Workforce.
