Natives who code: creating new stories

The approach

This sub-grant involves collaborating with the larger team to co-design a computer science course that includes coding, hardware, physical computing, and data sciences components. It will bring incorporate insight from Indigenous guest experts and role models from computer science, electrical and computer engineering, software engineering and data sciences fields. It involves co-create internship opportunities for youth who complete this program to apply their skills, creativity, and entrepreneurship goals to contribute to the sovereignty and capacities of their own communities.
