All students receiving PEIAC funds will be required, after graduation, to teach in a tribal school or a public school that serves a high proportion of American Indian students.

As a non-degree seeking option, PEAIC has created an Extended Kin Network of home and community educators who can benefit from nanocourses, available at education.asu.edu/PEAICnanocourses. These short, engaging, interactive online courses equip parents and community members to help learners and their families prepare for school. Courses are designed to help elementary and secondary aged students.
Nanocourses are on demand 24/7, free to use, and available to Tribal members and non-Tribal individuals who work with Indigenous children. An associate’s degree is not required for participation in the Extended Kin Network. Nanocourse topics include:
