Teacher Exchange: Classroom Management Strategies for International EFL Classrooms Services: General

Overview

<p>FHI 360 invites proposals from U.S. universities to host a two-week professional development workshop for non-native English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teachers. This exchange program is funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs Office of English Language Programs through the English Access Microscholarship Program. This professional development workshop seeks to strengthen secondary school classroom teachers’ ability to effectively implement classroom management strategies for international EFL classrooms. The participants will attend an intensive professional development workshop around the theme of classroom management strategies for international English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classrooms. FHI 360 is looking for university(s) to host approximately 25 EFL teachers from Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, and Asia and the Pacific for a two-weeks (14 days) program between September 1 - October 31, 2017.</p>
