Overview
<p>The following represents the scope and sequences of services requested by the Office of Early Childhood for the Camden City School District. The term is from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021, with the option to renew for up to two (2) additional years. The awarded vendor must provide each of the stated services. Each bidder must respond with their price and testament to commitment for the comprehensive services.</p> <p>The vendor will be able to provide up-to-date, research-based, and evidence-based curriculum, digital assessment system and related materials that will allow Early Childhood educators to support all learners, including dual language learners, advanced learners and students with special needs. The curriculum and assessment systems must include goals for children’s development and learning and provide a path forward for how teachers and families are to provide experience aimed at meeting those goals. The curriculum, assessment system and all related materials must be in alignment with the NJ Preschool Teaching and Learning Standards.</p> <p>The curriculum and related materials should be appropriate for, but not required for:</p> <ul> <li>Classrooms serving children birth-5 years old</li> <li>Classrooms serving Kindergarten-aged children</li> </ul> <p>The successful vendor will be able to provide a wide variety of comprehensive, in-depth professional development trainings that are in alignment with the NJ Preschool Teaching and Learning Standards and aimed at maximizing children’s growth and development. These trainings shall be designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of teachers, paraprofessionals and other Early Childhood stakeholders (e.g. administrators and coaches) who work with preschool-aged children displaying a variety of learning needs (e.g. dual language learners, advanced learners and students with special needs). The vendor should include options for in-person or web-based professional development sessions.</p> <p>Award will be based upon the following criteria:</p> <ul> <li>Vendor must demonstrate the ability to provide a wide variety of comprehensive, in-depth professional development trainings related to the NJ Preschool Teaching and Learning Standards and aimed at maximizing children’s growth and development, including in-person and web-based trainings.</li> <li>Vendor must demonstrate the ability to provide up-to-date, research-based, evidence-based curriculum and digital assessment materials that support all learners, including dual language learners, advanced learners and students with special needs.</li> <li>Vendor must demonstrate the curriculum’s appropriateness in multiple classroom settings, including infant/toddler, preschool and Kindergarten.</li> <li>Vendor must have experience providing professional development for educators working in urban settings.</li> <li>Minority or Small Business Owner</li> </ul> <p></p>
Solicitation Limitations: <p>All bidders or companies providing responses for requested proposals, are requested to submit with their response package a copy of their “New Jersey Business Registration Certificate” as issued by the Department of Treasury of the State of New Jersey.
