Overview

Throughout our Company’s history, we have considered the interests of P&G to be inseparable from the needs of the communities in which we operate. We demonstrate this commitment through investments in nonprofits (charitable organizations, NGOs and IGOs) in our P&G communities around the world. To that end, P&G focuses its social responsibility efforts where we can uniquely add value so we can generate the most positive impact. Specifically, we will provide everyday essentials that help create the experience of home for families who can’t afford them or who have been displaced, and we support hygiene education and everyday healthy behaviors that help prevent illness and improve confidence for people in need around the world. This focus enables us to take advantage of our strengths and help work toward the United Nations Millennium Development Goals focused on housing and sanitation as well as child and maternal health. Each grant request is carefully evaluated to determine alignment with: <ol> <li>Providing the comforts of home … the everyday essentials that help create the experience of home for families who can’t afford them or who have been displaced.</li> <li>Supporting hygiene education and everyday healthy behaviors that help prevent illness and improve confidence</li> </ol> There may be other needs and concerns in P&G communities where we operate around the world; however, our primary focus is providing the comforts of home and hygiene education and everyday healthy behaviors that prevent illness and improve confidence. Because our resources are limited, P&G cannot fund every worthy endeavor, and our grant competition is extremely competitive. US Plant Community Grant Programs for consideration must meet the following criteria: <ul> <li>Provide the comforts of home and/or improve health and confidence where P&G uniquely adds value.</li> <li>Help create a vibrant community where people want to live and work. </li> <li>Take place within 50 milesof a P&G U.S. manufacturing plant, Bentonville, Arkansas, or Minneapolis, Minnesota. </li> </ul> Overall Criteria: P&G funding MUST: <ul> <li>be permanently dedicated to an exempt purpose</li> <li>be used as described in the application</li> </ul> <div>P&G funding must NOT:</div> <ul> <li>benefit specific individuals or held in an endowment</li> <li>be used to influence legislation or participate in political campaign activity</li> <li>be used for religious purposes</li> <li>be used for conferences, galas, 5K Runs, fundraisers, or events</li> <li>benefit P&G or its employees (e.g., gifts, meals, etc.)</li> <li>be used for donations in support of the military (P&G partners directly with the USO for that purpose)</li> </ul>

Solicitation Limitations: ASU may submit only two (2) applications per discipline. There are two grant cycles each year: <ol> <li>July 1 through September 30 (Internal deadline 8/1/2019)</li> <li>December 1 through February 28. (Internal deadline 1/3/2020)</li> </ol> Because no applications were received for cycle 1, cycle 2 is now open
