Overview

<p>The NOFA Area: The funding focus for the 2019 funding cycle intends to support: <br>The reduction in youth bullying and violence and an increase in the development of conflict resolution education skills with youth for their application in and out of school with friends and other classmates as well as at home with siblings and other family members. <br>There are three priorities relevant to the criteria in the NOFA: </p> <ol> <li>Programs need to build upon the work of either the applicant or an applicant’s partner agency and specifically aim to integrate Conflict Resolution Education (CRE) in a manner that develops youth leadership using youth in the development and implementation of the idea;</li> <li>Use youth trainers/implementers both in digital spaces and face-to face<span> spaces that will increase the use of conflict resolution skills among youth in </span>relationship<span> with their peers, young adults and adult members within their families; and </span></li> <li>To measure the reduction of youth bullying and violence through an increase in the use of conflict resolution education skills by youth in and out of school with friends and other classmates as well as at home with siblings and other family members.</li> </ol>
