Overview

<p>Purpose of Program: The purposes of the Indian Education Professional Development Grants program that are relevant to this competition are to increase the number of qualified Indian individuals in professions that serve Indians, and to provide training to qualified Indian individuals to become teachers and administrators.</p> <p>Priorities: This competition includes two absolute priorities and two competitive preference priorities:<br>Absolute Priority 1: Pre-Service Training for Teachers.<br>Absolute Priority 2: Pre-service Administrator Training.<br>Competitive Preference Priority 1: Tribal Applicants.<br>Competitive Preference Priority 2: Consortium Applicants, Non-Tribal Lead.</p>
