Overview
<p>Proposals should take advantage of the transdisciplinary and transmedia nature of the Frankenstein phenomenon. Projects should be for a public audience and promote a deeper reflection on the work of Frankenstein and its enduring relevance, with a particular focus on one or more of these “animating questions” at the heart of the Frankenstein Bicentennial Project:<br>What is life?<br>What does it mean to be human?<br>What are our responsibilities as creators?</p> <p>Summary of the work to be done (no more than 1000 words).<br>• Clear, contained description of the project, including promotional plan if applicable<br>• Clear summary of anticipated outputs, outcomes, and audience<br>• Explanation of why these funds are necessary for the project<br>• Explanation of any funding opportunities for which this may serve as seed or pilot<br>• Description of any matching funds related to this proposal/project</p>
