Overview

<p>Division 15 (Educational Psychology) of APA is pleased to announce the call for the Division’s research award program for early career professionals or researchers who are working in the area of educational psychology (and who are members of the Division). The purpose of the award is to provide financial support for educational psychologists who are in the early phase of their careers as they undertake valuable research activities.</p> <p>Applications will be evaluated based on the scientific merits of the proposed work inclusive of – the theoretical grounding of the work, the importance of the research question, the soundness of the methods, and the implications of the potential findings for practice in the area of educational psychology.</p>

Other Information:<p>To be eligible to apply, individuals must be:<br>• Current members of the American Psychological Association’s Division 15, Educational Psychology. Those interested in joining may learn more at <a href="http://www.apadiv15.org/join">www.apadiv15.org/join</a><br&gt;• Individuals working in academic institutions, research and development organizations, or other research venues,<br>• Researchers in the field of educational psychology, up to 5 years beyond the conferral of their doctoral degree (i.e., degree must be awarded in August, 2016).<br>Individuals who have applied in previous years are encouraged to submit a new proposal to this call; individuals who have received this award in the past are not eligible to apply.</p>
