Overview

<p>Relevant focus areas include:<br> Critical Issues - Programs focused on teacher training for public and private schools. <br> Cochlear Implants - Access to oral/auditory schools and Access to preschool education <br> Sign Language - Accessibility to sign language training and programs encouraging proper grammar for students communicating with sign language <br>Quality of Life - Expanded programs to sensitize classroom teachers to the special needs of hearing impaired students and programs that promote barrier free communication. <br>Proposals should be based on the following grant categories: Project Support, Capacity Building, Scientific Research in the areas of Deafness and Hearing Loss and Feasibility Planning for Capital Projects.</p>
