Overview
<p>What are the Program Goals<br>1. Introduce computer code writing curriculum for students in grades nine through twelve.<br>2. Deliver a technology-focused education to Native American students that will prepare the students for the global economy.<br>3. Instruct Native American students in computer code writing and work with industry partners to develop internships and programs that will be made available to initiative graduates.<br>4. Instruct teachers and administrators in a technology focused curriculum.<br>5. Develop assessment metrics to measure progress to be used to determine the initiative's effectiveness.<br>6. Solicitation Limitations: <p>Grant Applications will be evaluated according to the Grant requirements per ARS §41-2702 F. The evaluation criteria are listed in the relative order of importance and are based on the following:<br>2.1. Program Narrative response as it relates to each of the Scope of Work requirements,<br>2.2. Pursuant to statute, ADE “shall maximize available funding by awarding grants to participants who will leverage state monies by securing gifts, grants and donations from other sources.”<br>2.3. Experience/expertise/reliability and qualifications based on the Applicant Capability narrative, background, history, track record, organization chart, financial statement, staff resumes, letters of reference, and letters of support. Ability to perform services as reflected by availability and suitability of staff resources.<br>2.4. Itemized budget, budget justification, and price sheet showing proposed cost(s) including other sources of funds.<br>2.5.
