Overview

<p>The Arlington Independent School District (AISD) is seeking to procure services in assisting in the implementation of restorative practices (RP) for 26 selected elementary and secondary campuses with the onboarding of additional campuses over a three year period.</p> <p><strong>Background</strong><br>Since 2016, the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) department developed a systemic approach to RP and has initiated implementation on 20+ campuses. The AISD has hired secondary school restorative practices specialists. Through this process, the AISD is expanding its efforts to support the delivery of schoolwide RP within a PBIS framework by building campus RP Specialists capacity through additional professional learning and systems implementation.</p> <p><strong>Specifications</strong></p> <p>The District is seeking restorative practices-focused consultative services that will provide the following:</p> <p><strong>1.</strong> Assist in integrating an RP continuum of systems, data and practices (including, but not limited to, proactive classroom practices to responsive practices) into AISD’s PBIS framework.</p> <p><strong>2.</strong> Conduct one-on-one coaching with PBIS Department members, including RP Support Specialist, to:<br>     <strong>a.</strong> provide direct instruction and modeling of RP best practices,<br>     <strong>b.</strong> deliver coaching conversations to build capacity in executing best practices<br>     <strong>c.</strong> provide effective feedback to enhance best practices performance</p> <p><strong>3.</strong> Design and deliver a blended professional learning model to build RP capacity in teachers, administrators, counselors, behavior-SEL support staff and campus principals. Based on these various stakeholders, materials should include differentiated tools and resources to be used when implementing these practices.</p> <p><strong>4.</strong> Provide job-embedded, school-based coaching visits with PBIS department members and campus RP Support Specialists. A minimum of two campus implementation coaching visits for 26 campuses in year one and addition of campuses through years two and three.</p> <p><strong>5.</strong> Assist PBIS Department in establishing and coordinating an RP Professional Learning Community (PLC) for all campus-based RP Specialists/Coordinators. Activities to include:<br><strong>     a.</strong> implementation planning<br><strong>     b.</strong> book study,<br><strong>     c.</strong> targeted, solution-focused sessions to trouble-shoot implementation<br><strong>     d.</strong> shared experiences from RP practitioners outside of AISD</p> <p><strong>6.</strong> Provide opportunity for continuous learning with other implementers to engage in RP content and implementation (i.e., consortium, conferences, forums)</p> <p><strong>7.</strong> Proposal pricing must include consultation fees, professional learning fees, travel fees (if applicable), necessary materials and yearly renewal costs. Any optional products or add-ons must be quoted separately.</p> <p><strong>8.</strong> Meets distict technical standards.</p> <p><strong>9.</strong> Third party efficacy research must be available for review.</p> <p><strong>Questions</strong><br>Any questions regarding procurement of this RFP should be submitted in writing via the electronic system by <strong>October 28 at 4pm.</strong> All questions will be answered in writing and published in Ionwave (online bidding system) or via addendum through the same system. AISD cannot accept late bids according to law.</p> <p><strong>Contract Terms</strong><br>This bid will be effective from date of award (Board of Trustees Approval) for one year with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods.</p> <p><strong>Selection Criteria</strong><br>The following criteria will be used for selection:<br>• 35% Section 1: Price<br>• 15% Section 2: Services and Support<br>• 20% Section 3: Extent to which the goods or services meet the District’s needs<br>• 30% Section 4: Experience with AISD</p>
