Further, we are guided by a long-term goal of decreasing community dependencies on our operations and ensuring that we are entering into partnerships that support sustainability. Solicitation Limitations: <p><span><span><span>Freeport-McMoRan Foundation Social Investment Programs are available to eligible nonprofit organizations that serve Freeport-McMoRan operating communities without a</span> <strong><span><a href="https://www.freeportinmycommunity.com/pages/community-investment-funds"… Investment Fund</span></span></a>. </span></strong></span></span></p> Other Information:<p>Social Investment funds are awarded in areas that reflect the best opportunities to create sustainable benefits within our operating communities. The maximum indirect cost allowed by the Freeport-McMoRan Foundation is 6% of direct project costs.</p> <p><strong>Social Investment Program Eligibility and Application Information<br></strong>The COVID-19 health crisis continues to have far-reaching effects on all of our daily lives and our business. Due to the rapid change in global market conditions, including the sharp decline in the price of copper, along with a highly uncertain outlook, we are uncertain what our level of investment might be in 2021. We are accepting applications at this time, but want to be transparent with you as you work on your Social Investment Grant proposal.
