Overview

<div>100&Change is our competition for a $100 million grant to fund a single proposal that promises real and measurable progress in solving a critical problem of our time. We consider proposals from any field or problem area. </div> <div></div> <div>Some problems cannot be solved by grants of the size that foundations typically provide. By funding at a level far above what is typical in philanthropy, we can address problems and support solutions that are radically different in scale, scope, and complexity. $100 million is a large enough sum to focus on a serious problem and its solution in a meaningful and lasting way. We hope that 100&Change can inspire a conversation about solutions and about how we can solve some of our most significant problems.</div>

Solicitation Limitations: <div>More information about the details of the project organization and details on what can be funded can be found in the organization readiness tool, available at <a href="https://www.100andchange.org/100&Change-Organization-Readiness-Tool.pdf…; <div>While this is not a limited submission, KED will be running an optional internal competition, called a "blue ribbon panel," to identify applicants to whom they will provide support.</div> Other Information:<div>Reviewers will rate the proposal based on the following criteria on a scale of 1 to 5:  whether projects are impactful, evidence-based, feasible, and durable.</div> <div></div> <div>While this is not a limited submission, KED is offering an internal "blue ribbon panel" review process to select applicants to receive KED support. They are also maintaining a FAQ link available at <a href="https://blog.researchadmin.asu.edu/">https://blog.researchadmin.asu.edu…;. The internal deadline for the blue ribbon panel is 6/15/2019. More details on that competition will be released soon.</div>
