EdD program: All materials, including letters of recommendation, must be received for applications to be reviewed. Applications submitted after 11:59 p.m. MST on the deadline date will not be considered for admission. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Applicants will be notified of admission status approximately 6 weeks after the posted application deadline.

PhD programs: To be considered for admission for fall 2027, all required application materials must be received by December 1, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. MST. Applications completed after this deadline will not be reviewed.

A complete application includes all materials, including letters of recommendation. Recommenders are sent the electronic recommendation form within 72 hours of the application being submitted and the application fee being paid. Applicants are responsible for ensuring their recommenders submit their responses by the December 1 deadline.

Please note: because of the 72-hour processing window for recommendation requests, applications submitted on December 1 will not result in a completed application by the deadline and therefore will not be considered.
