The best teacher-preparation program in Arizona is now more accessible to anyone in the state. If you live in Arizona, you can take remote classes via ASU Sync and earn a bachelor’s degree leading to teacher certification. 

What is ASU Sync?

ASU Sync is available for transfer students living in Arizona and who have an associate degree or will have completed an associate degree by the time they are enrolled at ASU. For some undergraduate degree programs leading to teacher certification, MLFTC offers Arizona students the option to take classes in real time, remotely via ASU Sync. Classes are designed to foster active collaboration and discussion with top-tier faculty members and peers throughout Arizona. 

You can also take advantage of additional cost savings with a reduced ASU tuition rate.

Professional experiences

Our Office of Professional Experiences will assist you in locating a school near you in which to complete your teaching residency and internship. If you are currently working as a paraprofessional or classroom aide, you may be able to complete your professional experience at your school — pending access to a class and program alignment.

All placements must be approved by MLFTC’s Office of Professional Experience.
