MLFTC journal ranked No. 2 in education policy

August 12, 2022

Google Scholar, a platform that ranks and compares journals, released its 2022 metrics. After four years of sliding in at No. 3 in the Education Policy category, ASU’s Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College’s Education Policy Analysis Archives jumped to No. 2. With this accomplishment and Professor Geoffrey Borman’s upcoming editorship of Educational Evaluation and Policy Analysis, ranked No. 3, MLFTC will be hosting two of the top three journals in the field of education policy.

As EPAA approaches its 30th anniversary, the rankings couldn’t have come at a better time. Founded by Regents Professor Emeritus Gene V Glass in the 1990s, EPAA was the first open access journal of education. And now, three decades later, the journal is publishing its 30th volume in English, Spanish and Portuguese for a global readership spanning from Chile to China and Canada to Australia. This fall, EPAA will celebrate its anniversary with a video, fundraising campaign, commemorative publication and more.
