The Regional Center of Expertise on Education for Sustainable Development - Greater Phoenix (RCE Greater Phoenix) warmly invites you to a talk by Daniel Fischer on Re-Doing Sustainability Education: Towards A Needs-Based Approach.

Daniel is a Sustainability Education and Communication professor and UNESCO Chairholder at the School of Sustainability at Leuphana University Lüneburg, Germany. His talk will present a needs-based sustainability education as an innovative approach and perspective that centers human needs satisfaction on a healthy planet.

This event is hosted by the Regional Center of Expertise on Education for Sustainable Development  –-  Greater Phoenix, known as the RCE Greater Phoenix. Its mission is to address sustainability challenges through meaningful, equitable, and participatory learning experiences for sustainability while prioritizing access for underrepresented communities, in particular historically marginalized youth.

RCEs are part of a global network initiated by the United Nations University and recognized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization. Daniel was also a founding member of the RCE GP.
