This webinar is part of a webinar series to share learnings from the Mastercard Scholars Program e-Learning Initiative Small Research Grants Projects such as online content development, pedagogy and assessment, policy, inclusivity, and promoting students’ online learning success. This first webinar in the series will share learnings from three research projects that researched various aspects of online learning content development, pedagogy, or assessment in their institutions. The projects are:

  • Towards a Guide for Developing and Delivering Content Online in Higher Education in Developing Countries: A Case of Makerere University-Uganda
  • Towards Authentic Online Assessment of Learner Performance: Case of United States International University-Africa (USIU-Africa), Kenya
  • Towards Best Practices in Online Content Development and Pedagogy: A Comparative Study of Opportunities and Challenges in USIU-Africa, Kenya and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana
