Let’s Get REAL: Literacy, Mentorship and the Power of Community and Families

Join us for a free interactive Zoom Meeting hosted by Dwaine Millard of Scholastic and Christian Adair of Fayette County Public Schools in which they will be discussing the power of mentorship as a strategy to build equity in school/community partnerships. Come hear how literacy and books can be used as a platform to empower students, families, and volunteers. They will also discuss a mentorship initiative that builds a culture of inclusion using literacy and the power of story that provides an opportunity to engage all students.
