The Learning Planet Festival is a free, open-to-all event dedicated to celebrating education and lifelong learning. The festival begins on the International Day of Education on Jan. 24 through Jan. 27 with over 500 online and onsite events — for students, teachers, researchers and all — worldwide.
United Nations University Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability has over 170 RCEs globally, with only 11 located in the U.S., and 16 in the rest of the Americas.

This event unveils seven tools that sustainability change makers can use in their efforts to build toward sustainable futures. The arch of the seven tools spans age groups and sustainability topics from nurturing relations to nature, community and self, to laying foundations of racial justice, inclusive investments and rights to education, to building sustainability and disaster management trainings for teachers and local governments.
There will be two public sessions:
10 a.m. - 12 p.m. "7 Tools to Build Toward Sustainable Tomorrows"
3 - 4 p.m. "Manifesto to Decarbonizing Research Methods"
