<p>The Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act (NSLA) establishes a Farm to School Program in order to assist eligible entities, through grants and technical assistance, in implementing farm to school programs that improve access to local foods in eligible schools.</p> <p>To fulfill the farm to school mandate in the NSLA, $5 million is provided to the Department of Agriculture (USDA) on an annual basis to support grants, technical assistance, and the Federal administrative costs related to USDA’s Farm to School Program.
<p>Our commitment to enriching the research skills and professional growth of young faculty members at ORAU member institutions is embodied in the Ralph E. Powe Junior Faculty Enhancement Awards Program. These competitive research awards provide seed money for junior faculty members that often result in additional funding from other sources. The award amount provided by ORAU is $5,000. The applicant’s institution is required to match the award with at least an additional $5,000.
<p>The Peoria Diamond Club Grants Program provides awards, contributions and grants in various amounts to assist youth in developing educational and/or athletic skills and goals through sponsored or directed activities or defined projects that are within the PDC’s mission and stated areas of interest.</p> <p>The Diamond Club’s Grants are to be applied toward the direct cost of the specific project, program, event, activity,etc. being proposed, as identified in line‐item budget submitted with the request.
<p>The American Honda Foundation engages in grant making that reflects the basic tenets, beliefs and philosophies of Honda companies, which are characterized by the following qualities: imaginative, creative, youthful, forward-thinking, scientific, humanistic and innovative. We support youth education with a specific focus on the STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) subjects in addition to the environment.</p>

<p>PAS Athens invites proposals for projects that strengthen ties between the United States and Greece through concrete demonstrations of cooperation between our two peoples. All grant proposals must convey an element of American history, culture, or shared values. Competitive proposals should support a priority program area (see below).
