Biography

William C. Vann Jr. is certified in emotional disturbance and cognitive impairment. He also holds certification as a reading specialist and is highly qualified at the secondary level in literacy, math, history, life and environmental sciences. He served schools in Virginia as an instructional technology integrator and since 2006 has published EduPic Graphical Resource, a website that offers more than 7,000 high-quality photographs and illustrations that teachers and students all around the world use without permission. He is a site coordinator and Ed.D. student studying what might be done to increase the likelihood that our graduates will remain in the teaching profession. 

Research Interests

Guiding Research Questions:

  • How will having teaching candidates complete action research projects impact their self-efficacy and likelihood they will remain in the teaching profession?

Current Research Projects:

  • William Vann is a site coordinator and Ed.D. student studying what might be done to increase the likelihood that Teachers College graduates will remain in the teaching profession.
