Major: Secondary Education and French

Hello! My name is Andrew Ahearne and I’m a fourth-year student in Barrett, the Honors College, pursing concurrent undergraduate degrees in Secondary Education and French. My passion for the French language and culture is rooted in my childhood abroad in France; I’m thrilled to be going into the field of education as it provides me the opportunity to share this passion with others. My favorite part about Arizona State University is the countless opportunities students have to get involved. In addition to being an ambassador during my time at ASU, I’ve been involved in Devils’ Advocates (Tour Guide) and the Undergraduate Student Government.   I additionally spent the 2013-2014 Academic Year in Paris, France, studying the French language and culture at the Cours de Civilisation Française de la Sorbonne. I can't wait for the exciting year ahead of us!
