Paola Castro

Major: Elementary and Special Education

Hello! My name is Paola Castro and I am one of the Student Ambassadors for this academic year. I’m a junior majoring in Elementary and Special Education. My favorite thing about the Teachers College is the Student Lounge, a place where you can go and do your homework, group projects, or just hang out. My favorite thing about ASU is the fountain that is close to Old Main because it is such a relaxing place. I want to become a teacher because I want to make an impact on my students. My main goal is to teach them that they have the power to do and to be whatever they want. I’m excited to be an ambassador so that I can be a resource for every student and help in whatever way I can to make this experience great for our fellow students.

Zoe Caulfield

Major: Elementary and Special Education

Hey! My name is Zoe Caulfield and I am a sophomore studying Elementary and Special Education returning as a Senior Ambassador for the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College! I am excited to be a returning ambassador for the College because I love connecting with other students and getting to know this year’s first time freshmen! I love spending time with my TC fam in the Farmer Student Lounge, AKA my second home. If you bring me coffee and about three dogs, you basically have my heart. I can’t wait for an exciting year!

Veronica Daigle

Major: Secondary Education English

Howdy y'all, my name is Veronica Daigle and I am a Secondary Education English major. I have recently graduated with my Associates from Mesa Community College and am transferring into my junior year here at Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College. I want to be a teacher to help end the cycle of poverty and work in Title I schools. I am excited to be an ambassador so that I can work closely with first time freshmen and all the students of the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College.

Kimberlee Franco

Major: Elementary Education

Hi! My name is Kimberlee Franco and I'm a sophomore studying Elementary Education. I love being a part of the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College and I am super excited to begin this school year as your ambassador! My favorite aspect of the Teachers College is that everyone looks out for each other and the feeling of support is never fading. I want to be a teacher in order to help those whom are in need and are struggling, which is exactly the reason I fell in love with the ambassador program. I hope you won't be afraid to stop by for any reason, even if it's just to have someone to converse with. Can't wait to see you all, Go Sun Devils!

Angela Fu

Major: Elementary Education

Hi! My name is Angela Fu and I’m an Elementary Education major. I was inspired by a teacher I had to be passionate about the education system in America and Arizona and I want to start making my contribution by becoming a teacher and teaching my own students. I am only a sophomore, but I already have so many things I like about ASU and the Teachers College. Both provide students with several opportunities and many resources.  They make it easy for students to find ways to get involved here even though there is a large student population.

Katie Johnson

Major: Early Childhood Education

Hi, I’m Katie Johnson, and I am a Student Ambassador for the Mary Lou Teachers College. I am a junior pursuing my degree in Early Childhood Education. I am also a section leader in the Barrett Choir. I love to go get Starbucks with my friends, and having five Starbucks on campus makes that easy! My favorite thing about Teachers College is how kind and open everyone is to each other’s ideas.  We all want to be teachers and look forward to working with the students. If you see me around campus, come up and talk to me! I am always looking to help.

Leann Manney

Major: Elementary and Special Education

Hello! My name is Leann Manney and I’m a Student Ambassador for the 2015-2016 school year. I am currently a sophomore majoring in Elementary and Special Education. ASU is a huge university, however has a very homey feel to it, which is what I love about being a Sun Devil! The Teachers College always hosts a bunch of events and it's really fun to be in such a close community. I want to become a teacher because I love working with children and making a difference. I am extremely excited for this school year to work as a Student Ambassador to help the incoming freshman class and all other students reach their goals.

Leeza Paredes

Major: Educational Studies

Hi! I'm Leeza Paredes and I'm a sophomore studying Educational Studies and pursuing a minor in Family and Human Development. I love the attitude of the Teachers College just as much as I love the attitude at ASU. I have a deep passion for education and hope to work as an advisor in higher education someday. I'm so excited to be an ambassador! I cannot wait to be more involved and help others be involved with the Teachers College too.

Piper Sandstrom

Major: Early Childhood and Special Education

Hi! My name is Piper Sandstrom and I am one of your 2015-2016 Student Ambassadors! I am a sophomore working to pursue my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Special Education. One of my favorite things about the Teachers College is how supportive and tight-knit the community is. My favorite thing about ASU is all of the opportunities available for students to get involved. I want to be a teacher to work with youth and watch them grow to their potential. I am excited to be an ambassador so I can help others working towards their goals. Let’s have a great year!

M Skopak

Madelyn Skopak

Major: Early Childhood and Special Education

Hello! My name is Madelyn and I am a sophomore this year at ASU. I'm an Early Childhood and Special Education major with a minor in Family and Human Development. My favorite thing about the Teachers College is the close knit vibe because as High School Musical likes to remind us, "We're all in this together!" I want to be a teacher because without them I wouldn't be where I am today. When I'm not in the Student Lounge you can catch me hanging out with my sisters and doing community service with Omega Phi Alpha.

Taryn Stull

Major: Elementary Education

Hi everyone! My name is Taryn Stull and I am currently majoring in Elementary Education. It has always been my passion to change the outlooks of others, especially children.  I am eager to become someone’s positive role model one day in a classroom. I love the Teachers College because of the welcoming staff and the one-on-one action you get to experience. I am very thankful for all of the opportunities Mary Lou Fulton has to offer and I can’t wait for what the future holds. Let’s have an incredible year, Sun Devils!
