Trevor Knox graduated from ASU’s Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College in 2017 with a degree in Secondary Education. He says the relationships he cultivated with intern students and mentor teachers were the foundation for his growth in the program, and ultimately his success. “It really helps to have someone who has your back, who believes in you.” Trevor says having someone to support him each day helped propel him to the next level. “They’re there to push you to your limits and make you a fantastic teacher, and I had that.”

After beginning an internship at Tempe Academy of International Studies, Trevor knew it was home, “I really put a lot of effort into wanting to work for that school.” He was offered a position and accepted. Trevor plans to teach History and coach football.
