Learning Design and Technologies (MEd)

The MEd in learning design and technologies emphasizes the design of learning technology environments, systems, applications and instructional materials for multiple learning contexts. The program prepares learning design and technology professionals for a variety of formal and informal settings in business, industry, museums, nonprofits, government organizations, and education, such as K-12 schools and colleges or universities.

Through projects that address real-world problems, students apply current research and learning theories, along with the use of emerging technologies, to the practice of learning and instructional design. All courses are online and combine a range of resources and technologies to facilitate direct interaction between students, program faculty and classmates. Program graduates are prepared with the knowledge and skills required to address real-world problems and emerging challenges through the process of learning design.
