Biography

Ashley Katikos earned a bachelor of science degree in secondary education from Western Michigan University. She furthered her education by completing a master's degree in educational leadership and obtained a principal certificate from Northern Arizona University. Her most recent experience as an assistant principal and master teacher has afforded her opportunities to partner with the Teacher Advancement Program (TAP). She is a clinical assistant professor and a Scottsdale iTeachAZ secondary site coordinator. Her future goals are to pursue a doctoral degree through ASU. Ms. Katikos is an educator responsible for teacher prep currently working on providing job-embedded professional development to mentor teachers working with teacher candidates. Her goal is to deepen mentor teachers' understanding of the TAP rubric to support teacher candidates in the field.

Current Research Projects:

As an educator responsible for teacher prep, Katikos is currently working on providing job embedded professional development to mentor teachers working with teacher candidates. The goal is to deepen mentor teachers understanding of the TAP rubric in order to support teacher candidates in the field.
