Wendy worked at Arizona State University, assisting students to successfully navigate graduation and teacher certification requirements from 2005 - 2022. She served as an advisor and liaison to students in other colleges who were seeking a secondary or fine arts teaching credential. She advised for the secondary certificate and concurrent degree programs; assisted students in art, dance, and music education programs; and worked with students enrolled in secondary education programs in the Gila Valley (EAC partnership site), Yuma (AWC partnership site) and other rural communities statewide.
Prior to coming to ASU, Wendy worked in advising at the University of Arizona for 4 years, and with the State of Arizona Employment Security Administration as a Career Counselor for 10 years. During that time she assisted students and clients with career exploration activities; interest, personality and aptitude testing; federally funded retraining programs; and job search resources. She has collaborated with and provided outreach to schools, social service agencies, correctional facilities and youth development programs.
In her spare time she enjoys traveling, reading, and working in her desert garden.
