Tracy Alvarado-Greenhow is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College with 27 years teaching experience in Arizona and Nevada. She worked as a Curriculum and Instruction coach and has taught general education elementary, middle school mathematics, and dual-language Spanish immersion since 1997. Her background and research interests are dual-language, mathematics discourse among elementary students, and early education number sense routines. She is fluent in Spanish reading, writing, and speaking, and has multiple years of experience teaching both dual-language immersion and English to language learners from Kindergarten to adults. She has been educating undergraduate students at the college level in multiple programs of study since 2017, and teaching Arizona mandated SEI courses since 2006.
