Dr. Sarah A. Polasky is the Executive Director of Research Opportunity Development and Advancement in the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College. In this position, Sarah provides strategic guidance and support to faculty and staff developing and submitting proposals for sponsored projects. Prior to serving in this role, Sarah served as the Assistant Director for Assessment and Program Evaluation at the University Office of Evaluation and Educational Effectiveness (UOEEE). She assisted departments across the University in completing program assessment planning and reporting on an annual basis, which contributes to University and specialized accreditation. She also conducted and oversaw program evaluation for projects internal and external to the University. Prior to joining UOEEE, Sarah supported the NEXT Teacher Quality Partnership and Arizona Ready-for-Rigor Project grants, which were awarded to the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College. For these grants, she served as the Value-Added Specialist for the Arizona Ready-for-Rigor Project, a Teacher Incentive Fund Grant, and worked as a Research Professional at the College Research and Evaluation Services Team (CREST), assisting partner districts with the development and completion of their individualized data service projects and working on program evaluation for the NEXT grant. In addition, she has served as a project manager and program evaluator on local and statewide research and evaluation projects in Arizona. Sarah earned her Ph.D. and M.A., both in Educational Psychology, from Arizona State University.
