Biography

Natalie has been with Arizona State University since 2005 and helped launch Access ASU, an initiative focused on increasing college readiness of students and families through school and community partnerships.  As Executive Director of Access ASU, Natalie oversaw 10 different programmatic strategies to reach the diverse population of Arizona. She also launched Arizonas first Earn to Learn program in partnership with the Department of Health and Human Services to leverage ASUs financial aid funds to match college savings accounts of low-income high school students.  In 2015, Natalie led the implementation of ASUs First in the World federal research grant, ProMod. It included partnering with university faculty and high school teachers to re-design their classrooms using project-based learning. Prior to coming to ASU, Natalie taught middle school and managed a prevention focused federal grant in 4 elementary/middle schools.  Natalie has a Bachelors in Secondary Education from ASU and received her Masters and Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University.
