Jenny Crandell earned her bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Brigham Young University. She continued her studies by earning a masters degree in elementary education with a reading endorsement from Northern Arizona University. Jenny taught for 20 years in the elementary setting, including preschool, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. She also taught critical reading at the community college level for two years, as well as ESL online for three and a half years. Jenny had the honor of publishing a book with two other ASU faculty members called: 100 Ways to Teach Language Online; Powerful Tools for the Online and Flipped Classroom Language Teacher. Currently Ms. Crandell is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College, secondary ed program, where she enjoys teaching internship classes and supervising residents while in their student teaching program. She has plans to further her education by pursuing a doctoral degree in education, though she is undecided on which degree.
