Join us for the final Learning Futures Collaborative quarterly meeting of the 2025–2026 academic year. This session is open to all current and prospective LFC members and will provide an opportunity to connect, collaborate, and deepen our collective impact.
The meeting will be facilitated by Professor David R. Garcia, an expert in education policy, research utilization, school choice, and translating research into actionable policy influence. He is the author of Teach Truth to Power: How to Engage in Education Policy.
During this interactive session, participants will:
- -Refine their LFC’s practical problem
- -Identify “unexpected allies” and new partnership opportunities
- -Explore “Action Releases” as a genre-changing communication strategy
- -Practice crafting effective “asks” through guided exercises
Current LFC members are encouraged to attend and build on foundational work from the first convening of the academic year, including refining challenge statements, vision statements, and value propositions. Prospective members are welcome to attend and explore ways to maximize their scholarly impact.
