Transfer Student Teacher Talk at Sonoran Sky Elementary

  • Interested in teaching? Get the inside scoop on April 4.

The best way to find out what it’s like to be a teacher is to ask one. Register now for a classroom backstage pass to Sonoran Sky Elementary School.

You’ll meet teachers from your community who are also mentor teachers in ASU’s teacher preparation program. You’ll watch them at work in the classroom and get a chance to ask them questions about why they chose teaching and what it’s really like.

You’ll also sit down with students like you who are in our programs now and are well on their way to being teachers themselves.

Join us Tuesday, April 4, in Glendale’s Pendergast School District:

    • Talk to students and faculty in our Special Education and Elementary Education dual-certification bachelor's degree program

    • Visit three classrooms and ask questions

    • Get an introduction to iTeachAZ, our innovative program that guarantees you more classroom time than traditional teacher preparation programs.

    • Learn about flexible options: Earn your ASU degree entirely in the Pendergast district while you stay in your community, or choose to take your classes on an ASU campus
