About the event

At the STEM Education for Diverse Learners summer camp, you will get to participate in a five-day program that includes interactive lessons and field trips to prepare you to enhance STEM education for diverse learners in your classroom.

As a participant, you will learn techniques to:

  • Integrate science, technology, engineering, mathematics and literacy for the benefit of ELL students and other diverse learners

  • Teach STEM through problem-based learning

  • Utilize community resources to create meaningful experiences for students

  • Enhance lessons to build discipline-specific academic language 


Registration is now full. 

This camp is available only to current ASU mentor teachers, current ASU term 8 teacher candidates, and recent Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College graduates.

Participants will receive a $2,000 stipend after attending the complete five-day program.
