Early childhood education (birth-age 8) is for people who want to teach children in preschool through third grades.An early childhood teacher must know how young children develop and learn, have a broad knowledge of subjects taught in these grades, and be well versed in techniques for working effectively with children.
Students completing a degree in Early Childhood education are eligible to receive K-8 teacher certification.
