BEFORE YOU APPLY…

Students applying to masters programs may consider either the MA or the MEd. Both programs have multiple options for a culminating activity such as an applied project or thesis, and both programs engage students in action-oriented research. Please contact the Graduate Programs Office at 480.965.4602 before applying to the Graduate College to ensure that you apply to the program that is the best fit for you.

Seeking Readmission

If you are seeking re-admission to a masters program you have already begun, please contact the Graduate Programs Office before you apply. For those students seeking a masters plus certification program, please visit the College of Teacher Education and Leadership (CTEL) website for more information. If you seek readmission to either the TEACH+ME or INCITE programs, please note that these masters degrees no longer reside in the Fulton Graduate School, so you must apply to CTEL in order to complete these programs.

If you have already completed initial teacher certification, or are not interested in certification and considering graduate school – the Mary Lou Fulton Institute and Graduate School of Education is the place for you.

Our masters degree programs include degrees in administration and leadership with principal/superintendent certifications, psychology in education and curriculum and instruction.

We offer unique opportunities for study within highly sought after, thematic areas such as science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education, language and literacy, early childhood education, and teacher development. Interdisciplinary study is encouraged, allowing students to focus their studies on early childhood, elementary or secondary education as well as counseling and policy.
