Master of Education (MEd) - Counselor Education The Counselor Education Master of Education (MEd) is a program for teachers seeking a greater understanding of student behavior. The degree alone does not provide academic preparation for state certification as a school counselor. Students interested in becoming school counselors should apply to the Master of Counseling program.
