Criteria for mentoring an Intern
- minimum of 3 years teaching experience
- minimum of 1 year in the current school
- fully certified in Arizona
- recommended by school principal or department chairperson
- willingness to complete intern appraisals and sign timecard
- willingness to share experience with intern
- available to give verbal feedback to intern
How can I become a Placement Teacher for an intern?
- talk to your principal or department chairperson to add your name to the school's list of available placement teachers
